Rio Segura

The Segura runs through the heart of Murcia and is less a single attraction than one of the features that gives the city its shape. Walking beside it is an easy way to link the centre with gardens, bridges and some of the city’s main monuments.

It is especially worthwhile if you want a calmer view of Murcia away from the busiest shopping streets. The riverfront works best as part of a walk rather than as a stand-alone sight.
