Essential information for your Cartagena visit
April to October offers the best weather. Summer (July-August) is hottest but perfect for beach activities. Spring and autumn provide ideal temperatures for sightseeing.

Cartagena city centre is very walkable, with most attractions within 15 minutes of each other. Public transport and taxis are available for longer distances. Cartagena is quite a large municipality so to reach certain places you will need a car.
