Murcia Airport: the regional arrival point
Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU), also known as Corvera Airport, is the region’s passenger airport. Its single terminal makes the airport itself straightforward to understand, but onward transport still needs planning because Murcia’s cities, coast and inland areas spread in different directions.
RMU is a natural option for an itinerary centred on Murcia city, Cartagena, Mazarrón, Lorca, the southern Costa Cálida or several inland stops. If the trip includes beaches, natural parks or smaller municipalities, car hire at Murcia Airport gives you considerably more flexibility than building the whole itinerary around timetables. Alicante Airport: more flight choice and useful eastern access
Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC) is outside the Murcia region, but it is an important arrival point for Murcia visitors. It can be particularly practical for San Pedro del Pinatar, the northern Mar Menor and trips that begin on the eastern side of the region.
