La Azohía

La Azohía is a coastal village in the municipality of Cartagena. Its bay, Mediterranean setting and the Torre de Santa Elena give the area a distinct identity within the much larger Cartagena destination.

The historic watchtower stands above the bay and is visited for its defensive history and coastal views. Between Isla Plana and La Azohía, La Calera provides a dog-friendly beach and access to a coastal walk towards La Azohía’s promenade.
