easyJet has announced a new direct route between Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) and Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU). Flights are due to begin on 29 March 2027, giving travellers from Liverpool, the North West and North Wales another direct way to reach the Region of Murcia.
The route is already on sale. As with any future flight schedule, operating dates and times can change, so check the airline’s live timetable before arranging accommodation, car hire or airport parking.

easyJet says it will be the only airline offering the direct Liverpool–Murcia route. The service forms part of the airline’s summer 2027 expansion and is included in the official easyJet route announcement.
Why the new Liverpool route matters
The Monday and Friday schedule works particularly well for long weekends, full weeks and ten-night stays. It also creates a direct Murcia option for passengers who might otherwise have used Alicante Airport or connected through another city.
For the Region of Murcia, Liverpool adds another direct link with the United Kingdom, its largest international visitor market. It should make the Costa Cálida, Mar Menor, Cartagena, Murcia city and inland destinations easier to reach from Merseyside and surrounding areas.
