Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU) is set to gain two new direct connections. Volotea is advertising direct flights between Murcia and Algiers for November 2026, while Transavia has announced an Amsterdam Schiphol route for summer 2027.
The announcements are useful news for travellers, but exact operating dates and frequencies can still change. Our Murcia Airport destinations guide keeps the current routes and announced additions together in one place.
Murcia–Algiers with Volotea
Volotea is now advertising non-stop flights between Murcia and Algiers (ALG) for November 2026. The route adds a direct connection between the Region of Murcia and the Algerian capital.
Travellers should search their preferred dates directly with the airline before making other arrangements. The Volotea route page shows the published November availability.
Murcia–Amsterdam Schiphol with Transavia
Transavia has added Murcia to its summer 2027 programme from Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS). The airline announced the Murcia connection as part of its expanded summer offering in Spain.
The Transavia announcement confirms the route for summer 2027. Check the airline timetable for the exact dates and frequency that suit your trip.
What this means for Murcia travellers
Amsterdam adds another useful northern European gateway, while Algiers strengthens Murcia Airport’s links across the western Mediterranean. Both routes also give residents of the region more direct options without first travelling to Alicante or Madrid.
Before booking accommodation, transfers or parking around a flight, confirm that the service operates on your chosen date. For the full airport overview, see the Murcia Airport guide and the maintained list of direct destinations and airlines.
